Jennifer Figgers brings over 18 years of hands-on experience in homeowners association (HOA) management. As the President and Founder of JMJ Community Management, Inc., she has earned a reputation for delivering boutique-style service tailored to the unique needs of each community. Her approach is grounded in a deep respect for homeowners’ investments, a family-oriented philosophy, and a strong commitment to ongoing professional development.
Jennifer is a licensed Community Association Manager (CAM) a credential required to manage HOAs in the state of Florida—and also holds the Certified California Community Manager (CCCM) designation. She is an active member of both CAI and CACM and remains current on legislative changes to ensure the communities she serves operate smoothly and in full compliance.
In addition to her work with JMJ, Jennifer is the founder of HOA Election Professionals, a company she has successfully led since 2020. Under her leadership, the firm has conducted over 700 HOA elections with transparency, integrity, and efficiency.
Jennifer is also a proud military wife, bringing her strong sense of service and dedication to every aspect of her work.
Shawn launched HOA Elect CA in 2020, following years of working with developers and HOAs across North America. With a degree in Political Science and a strong background in civic process, Shawn has a passion for fair, transparent, and efficient elections. Based in San Diego, he has built HOA Elect CA into a trusted name in the election services space, known for compliance-focused, worry-free election management that adheres to state laws and governing documents.
Together, Jennifer and Shawn have created a digital voting platform designed specifically to meet the needs of election inspectors, community managers, and board members. Their combined experience gives them a unique perspective on what makes elections work—and how to make them better. Their platform is not only user-friendly and secure but also grounded in the best practices they've spent years perfecting.
